In autumn 1983, the plant was selected from wild-growing A. arguta by the breeders from Fruit Tree Service Station of Kuandian County. Physical location of the plant Actindia arguta was at Shishan Village, Yanbogou Hongshilazi Town Kuandian County Liaoning Province.
The fruit was long cylindrical and red skin. The flesh was red and very juicy. The mean fruit weight was 22.9 g; the maximum fruit weight was 36.8 g. Fresh fruit contains VC192.64mg /100g flesh, soluble solids of 19.5%, total acid 1.27%. Longitudinal diameter was about 4.2cm, diameter about 2.7cm, lateral diameter about 2.1cm which was a rarely large-size variety.
Gold flesh Variety:
In autumn 1983, the plant was selected from wild-growing A. arguta by the breeders from Fruit Tree Service Station of Kuandian County. Physical location of the plant Actindia arguta was at Xiagaodonggou village, Hongshilazi Town Kuandian County Liaoning Province.
Fruit was cylindrical and green-skin. The mean fruit weight was 16.9 g; the maximum fruit weight was 18 g. Fruit flesh was golden, juicy and tasted sweet-sour with light aroma. Fresh fruit contains VC126.88 mg /100g, soluble solids of 18.9%, total acid 1.36%. Longitudinal diameter was about 4.2cm, diameter about 4.5cm, lateral diameter about 3.5cm.
Gold-green flesh Variety:
In autumn 1984, the plant was selected from wild-growing A. arguta by the breeder from Benxi County Forestry Bureau. The physical location of the plant Actindia arguta was at Dabiangou Village Lanheyu Town Benxi County Liaoning Province.
The fruit shape of Lan-84005 was oblong and the skin color was golden-green. The mean fruit weight was 6.0 g and the maximum fruit weight was 8.2 g. The flesh was golden-green and very juicy. The fresh fruit contains VC350.0 mg /100g, soluble solids 19.3 %, total acid 1.35 %. Longitudinal diameter of about 2.2 cm, diameter of about 2.2 cm, lateral diameter of about 1.8 cm.
The bleeding period is in April 5-11, day germination period April 16-19, the leafing phase April 28-30, the new shoots growing period May 1-4, the new shoots stop growing period June 18-23, the early flowering stage in June 10-15, the peak flowering stage in June 13-18, and final flowering in June 20-22, fruit maturity September 4-10. The fruit growing period from flowering to fruit maturity is only 78-84 days.

The Fruit was cylindrical and golden-green. The mean fruit weight was 15.0g and the maximum fruit weight was 18g. The flesh was golden-green and tasted sweet and sour, very juicy with light aroma. The fruit contains VC 140.90 mg /100g soluble solids 14.0 % and total acid 1.31 %. Fruit maturity period was from early to mid September.

Fruit was round and light green. The mean fruit weight was 17.5 g and the maximum fruit weight was 19.1 g. Flesh was golden-green and tasted sweet. Fresh fruit contains VC195.90 mg /100g. Fruit maturity time was 10th September.

Fruit was oblong and golden-green skin. The mean fruit weight was 20.3 g and the maximum fruit weight was 27.0 g. The flesh was green, juicy and tasted sweet-sour with strong aroma. Fresh fruit contains VC102.9 mg /100g, soluble solids 13.1 %, and total acid 0.92 %. Fruit maturity period was early September. Yield was 25 kg per tree.

Longitudinal diameter of about 3.3cm, diameter of about 2.8cm, lateral diameter of about 2.3cm. Flesh was light green and fresh fruit contains VC454.50 mg /100g, soluble solids 19.2%, and total acid 1.00%. Fruit maturity period was from late of August to early of September.
